Mouse slow startup from sleep

Hey guys just got a small problem maybe I can get some help with

When I sleep my computer my mouse cursor does not move for like...35 seconds maybe a tiny bit more usually I hear the *clunk* hardware finder sound then I can move it same with keyboard

Anybody know what's going on?
