I think its the step up program you are referring to ..and its only good for three months after your purchase..im so tempted to hit that submit button to place the order...:} this is one of the fun parts of building a new system trying to figure out what to get

This is what i love about building a new rig the back and forth...I am so ready to hit the New Egg submit order button..but I just keep searching for that last bit of info that could help...lol and it seems like its always the video card that keeps you from pulling the trigger to quick

yea it was the step up program but if thats what u want then get it, but all those cards will prolly drop price once the new 260+ comes out. here in a lil while

ur best of going with a 4870, I45, and a e8500/q9550. the 4870 is a great card, the gtx 260/280 are not priced as good, crossfire also scales better, and the p45 chipset is better then the x48, so everything points towards a ATi card.
