FINALLY, AFTER 5 YEARS OF WAITING I HAVE BUILT MY FIRST COMPUTER AND IT FEELS GREAT!!!! Boy I tell ya, I was really scared when I plugged it in and it didn't start up. The MOBO didn't even light up. I messed with teh reset button and until I finally realized the switch for the PSU was in the off position, doh! Anyways, if you're curious, here are the specs. I appreciate all the help guys.

Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo CPU
Sata Cavier 16 400gb HDD
4gb OCZ DDR2 5-5-5
Antec case

I wanted something that was Xfire ready for the future. I still have 30 days to excahnge or upgrade anything. Who knows, I may go back and get the 4870. By the way, did I mentino it feels good! Especially with all the cool blue fans and stuff.

thats kinda the same thing i think im about to do except with a 4870 and a quad core.

Same here, not new to building computers but havent built one in around 5 years so Im excited to do it again. I've got my thermaltake armor sitting on my desk just waiting for my parts to arrive from newegg.
