Toshiba Portege R205-S6062 crash

Before attempting hard disk drive/system recovery procedure, i'd really like to grab a few files from the hard drive. looking all over the web for an adapter to allow me to connect to this HDD1544, but no luck. HDD has 50-pin (25 paired) female port, which connects to 22 pairs of pins (44) in notebook. Anybody know where I might find this? (and yes, more meticulous backing up next time...). mgr

The drive without the adapter should fit into any IDE external 2.5" enclosure.
