I have an M2N32 SLI-Deluxe motherboard, 4g super talent memory, 3.0g Dual core AMD processor, but only a 8600GT silent graphics card (256mb). Its obvious when I am playing games that my card is the only thing really dragging so i decided to buy a new one. Right now I am thinking about getting (EVGA 640-P2-N824-AR GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3). But I am tight on $$ So also wanted to consider this card (EVGA 384-P3-N966-TR GeForce 9600 GSO 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express) Which I can get for 50$ after mail in rebate where I am 120$ after rebate on the 8800. Will there be enough difference between the two to pay double for the 8800? Any experience with these cards ?
