I have a compaq presario 1700us with windows 98se. when turn on my laptop the backround of my dekstop appears nuthing else, no taksbar, no my computer, nuthing. could someone tell me how to fix this?
Well, when it boots up it does the reguler thing, the compaq logo appears, and the windows 98 image appears. when i get to my empty desktop a box appears that says "internet explorer has preformed an illegal operation".
