New video card time help.

My old video card fried. Now i need a new one. I'm pretty sure i need an AGP one (the slots brown and theres 2 white ones below it). Is whether is agp or pci the only thing you need to look at when buying a new one or is there other things?

AGP vs. PCI is the only thing you need to look at when finding if the card meshes with the mobo. There are faster PCI slotes (PCIe 2.0, for example), but it's backwards compatible with the original PCI standard. Tell us your motherboard and your typical computer use, and we can suggest to you a graphics card.

If your slot is AGP then that card above would work and you would not need vista to use it.
