can't get my ram to overvolt to 2.2v

Hey guys i'm using GA-965P-DS3 motherboard which is a bit old but whenever i tried to overvolt my ram to +0.4V it says DDR18V FAIL in the pc health status where the other voltage says ok. Is this a problem with my ram or my motherboard? I'm using Kingston HyperX ram which is Newegg.com - Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

u should only keep ur ram at the stock voltage imo. it says 2.0 for ur ram

they can do 2.1v safely. Thats what I would run max unless I had active cooling

i was trying to overclock my ram but i couldn't get it high unless i overvolt it higher. so is it the motherboard's limit or the ram's limit?

well the problem is it won't go over 2.1V (+0.3V) so is it a limit that my ram has or my motherboard? or perhaps psu?
