PXE-E61 Media Test Failure on Toshiba

Hello, Im trying to Format a laptop which is a Toshiba Equium P200 when i insert the Vista home premium CD in the drive it comes up with..PXE-E61 " For realtek RTL8100E/8101E... " and so on.. any idea what it might be ? ive turned wireless off aswell still same thing

Verify your boot order to DVD first and hard drive second in your bios. While you are there make sure the hard drive is recognized.

Was the DVD i was using. its sorted now

Go into the BIOS and disable the Network boot, or LAN boot, or whatever its called. That'll make sure it doesnt happen again, if the boot order happens to get changed around .

Lol, no worries. No problem; I had to deal with that error quite a bit at work for a few months actually...computer wouldn't boot at all, and figured out what the PXE-E61 error message was usually about: meant it was trying to boot off of the network (which wasn't present).
