new monitor

Im looking to get a new lcd monitor. I have probably up to $350 to spend on it. maybe more, preferably a little less. i have a 9600gt to run it. the only thing is that it has to come off from amazon.

$350 Limit looks like a high quality 22" or a low end 24" which do you prefer?

Get a Samsung 22inch. You would probably struggle a bit with 24inch resolution on newer games.

That's the one I was talking about, but it's prob. cheaper to go to Best Buy or Circuit City to buy it. And you'll have it quicker

i was thinking the 24" might be pushing it. so i know samsung makes nice ones... but is the premium too high? this is all in amazon gift certificates, so all extra money from the total of $300-450 can go to buying other cool stuff.... maybe a new hdd...

any other ones on amazon?

I have the Asus and its a very good screen. The T220 will be better, but it is more expensive.

the reviews are saying that theres color bleeding around the edges, is it that bad/noticeable?

9600GT is going to be hard pressed to run 1920x1200 resolution. You are better off with a solid 20/22" monitor.

There is no bleeding on mine. There is a clear plastic thign around the edges which light might reflect off from, but no bleeding.
