New Rig Need New Video Card

Got a new rig for light gaming... planning on upgrading ram but that's for another day. Just wondering the most practical card for this machine seeing as it's no high end rig. Mostly want to play Battlefield 2.

P.S. I believe all that i have is an agp 8x slot.

MX4000? Yeah, you definitely need a new card.

Even a 6200 would be a huge step up for that rig. Buy whatever fits your budget.

yeah the mx4000 is just what came in it, it was free so no complaints what so ever, it has dual monitor capabilities which is why im guessing is why its in here.

Go with the 3850 Redmoon mentioned, although, that depends on how good your psu is. Do you have any details on it?

3850 will compliment that dual core very well.

Also, what type of psu are you running? If on a budget a 380W Earthwatts will do you well.

Get at least another gig of ram if your motherboard can support it.

Good thing is the HD3850 is a good overclocker, and its a dual core cpu so game performance will be very good.
