Please help with doom3!!!!

I just installed doom 3 and did the autamatic settings whuch turned it to high quality, but everytime i try and play it just exits out and sends me to windows. I havnt even got to play yet because of this. Please send me suggestions!

It is probaly because u haven't update the drivers for ur card...I had the same problem with call of duty...but it was because my video card wasn't good enough....
