How much is a 3870x2 worth? and what kind of performance increase will have over a 8800GTS (G92) and a 4850?

Brand new, a 3870X2 runs $200 (for a 512MB version) to almost $300. Figure $250.

4870's start in that neighborhood, so it would make more sense to just go with that.
