So I got my new monitor, finally went to the LG one. and It only came with DVI sub connector, I have the adapter for the DVI (pci express I think its called) and just curious if its worth buying the DVI cable? WIll I get any performance boost?
Newegg.com - LG L226WTQ-BF Black 22" 2ms GTG Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 3000:1 DCR with HDCP Support - LCD Monitors

Cable is like 5 bucks I think

Ooops, and to clean my screen, Can I use those anti static cloths? (they have very little liquid which I believe its alchohol.)

any plug like, vga (blue pins), parallel ports etc are all called dvi-sub its just a connector that isnt DVI pretty much.

DVI-I=> support analog and digital
DVI-D=> supports only digital (most common)
DVI-A=> u guessed it, only analog

im pretty sure that vga, and dvi have same quality except dvi since its digital does not loose quality over distances at all, some people say the image is alot clearer. if i was you i would buy a dvi cable anyway, they are cheap. but no, it doesnt lower fps, that i no of
