New P43 motherboard pin bent...

I just got my P43 motherboard and Intel E7300 today. I opened up the motherboard and when I took off the CPU socket protector I noticed that one of the little pins was bent ever so slightly. It is not touching any other pins but will the motherboard work with the CPU? I installed it and used the on board power switch to turn it on, all the fans worked and the CPU heat sink did get a little bit warm. I don't have RAM, A video card, a CD drive or an OS.


Do you think it will work with one pin bent a little bit?

I think it's a little to late to be asking now. Installing the CPU over a bent could only make it bend more. That wasn't a wise thing to do.

I have taken the CPU out, it is not bent to the left or right so to speak but it is only bent just a little bit upwards not even the thickness of one pin... It is not touching any other pins and i think it makes contact just fine...
