No it really is a bad deal. The video card wont even let you play any decent games. For $1349, HiDefComputers will build you this:

Motherboard: ASUS P5K PRO Crossfire
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB DDR2
Video: DIAMOND Radeon HD 4870
Case: COOLER MASTER Mystique
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 600W
HDD: WD Caviar SE16 500GB
OPTICAL: SAMSUNG 20X DVD+R SATA

or for $1190:
Motherboard: ASUS P5K PRO Crossfire
CPU: Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0ghz or Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB DDR2
Video: DIAMOND Radeon HD 4850
Case: COOLER MASTER Mystique
PSU: Rosewill RP550V2 550W
HDD: WD Caviar SE16 500GB
OPTICAL: SAMSUNG 20X DVD+R SATA

Ill also upgrade the HDD to 640GB on those and in addition we install all PC's with Vista.
Link is below in my Signature.

On the other hand, building it yourself could be a good learning experience. Once you build one, its easy.

Zedman is right, that is a bad deal becuase it is using an overpriced cpu and overpriced ddr3 ram - neither of which you need. The money is much better spent toward a better graphics card, and in zedmans deal you get a quad core, not a dual, and 4gb of ram.
