Finally ready for a NEW 22 monitor! (suggestions needed)

veedub is it the full panel or the glass only? for my knowledge there are more than 3 lcd manufacturers , to name a few is samsung,fujitsu,sharp,hannstar and LG.but correct me if im wrong

ive checked in newegg and i didnt see the 226BW try to look for the 226BW its the one with 3000:1 contrast ratio

no, samsung is the only one out of all of those. all the other companies buy from the remaining 2 companies, which i don't know the name of.

I believe its Samsung, Sharp/SONY (joint venture), and Phillips/LG (joint venture).

samsung and sony are joint, not sony/sharp. samsung and sony share a manufacturing plant in south korea

Its samsung, Lg/Phillips, Fujitsu who create(came up w/ the techology of) the VA panels. I've owned an Mva panel and it was beautiful but my S-IPS is way more vibrant when it comes to color although I do get some ghosting but i don't game that much
