750 should be fine but if you really feel like spending the extra, go ahead.

Q9550 would be the best for gaming, but i would go for the E8500.

I've come to a conclusion. I'll buy the E8500. It's good enough to give me good gaming performance and cheap enough that when, say, Nehelam comes out or quads become more useful, it can be easilly replaced. How's that?

Get the Corsair 750, G-skill DDR2 800, 8500 is my suggestion.

Why G-skill DDR2 800?

with the 1100 you won't see too much of a difference if any. And with the 800 being significantly cheaper, that would be a logical choice.
