Got the camera and it was late so I just figured I find something in the house to practice on.

Then I tried some HDR photos

This morning I went out and got another HDR photo

I can't wait to completely master this thing.

Nice pics, great camera there. In all honesty they look just as good as the D80 i borrow from my dad. Maybe there would be a difference when the size got massive ? either way, very nice.
Btw - i don't know why, but your garage looks fake. It looks like it's a extremely high poly count pc image that's been raytraced..

Chaos, has anyone actually donated to you ?

Why don't my HDR's look like that.....
How many ev's apart are the pictures? *mainly the mustang one*
I've been wanting a dslr for a long time, but i've just bought other stuff instead....like a 24" monitor.

sweet pics

That tank looks like it could use some Viagra

lmao. :D

Ya, have you done much HDR stuff? when you combine all the different exposures it brings out tons of details. Almost makes it look fake.
I think there is 13 different pictures combined to make the on of the car.

The mustang is at 1/2 intervals using 13 different shudder speeds.

Ah, thats why. You did 13 exposures with different shutter speeds. I ususally do bracketing and it does +1 and -1 ev. So a total of 3 exposures. I haven't tried taking over 5 exposures for an hdr. Because i like taking hdr's everywhere so i don't spend to much time in one place.
this one is a pseudo hdr made with one raw image.

Ya, that is the only downside of the D60. It doesn't have a bracketing feature.

I haven't done RAW hdr's yet. It is great because you don't have to have a tripod and take multiple shots.
