so i just got my q6600 and the batch is L810B138, so is that bad? i didnt see it on the list but was curious. i'm wondering if its worth even opening. i want to overclock a bit but nothing major.

you can find the batch number on the original box that the cpu came in, and it might be on the chip itself, i'm not sure about the ladder, though.

speaking of batch lists, are there any known good/bad batches for the 9450 and e8400? Thinking of picking one up. Probably going to end up rigging up an SLI machine with my 680 and 260s.

well, i'd say the batch that my 9450 is a good one...so far i am testing it at 3.8, 1.25V...
passed 3.6 @ 1.225 no problem, failed 3.8 @ that vcore though. temps dont go over 60* with an s1283.
i'll post it when i get home.
