Need driver help for HD

Yes the drive itself is perfect. Before this ext enc arrived in the post, I hooked the drive upto a 3.5" enclosure, formatted it and transferred a load of files.

Since then, just to be sure, I hooked it up again and the drive works perfectly.

You should feel the drive spinning after you plug it in. If not, there's something wrong. But certainly it shouldn't be a driver issue. It's most likely the enclosure doesn't like the drive. Try the enclosure on a desktop and see if it powers up.

All 8 of my enclosures are made by Bytecc. They all work well for me.
