With VMware you can do several tricks like this. Install several OS and switch live between them etc.

Yeah listen to carnage if you're doing video editing don't use VMWare. Just either use the Windows boot manager or use some third party software like BootIt NG.

Why don't you vmware 64bit?

Probably because 64bit is his main OS, and he just needs to use 32bit for his video-edition programs, but everything else is in his 64bit OS.
