How far could you push a 2.66ghz P4 Northwood with Liquid Nitrogen cooling?

id guess as far as th archetecture allowes and as high as ur voltage goes, basically to its most extreme limits cuz liquid nitrogen is pretty damn cold

Speeds of about 4.5 to 5 GHz are possible with cryogenic cooling and a reasonable voltmod.

Cryogenics, with the possible exception of the Prommies/Vapochills etc. is really a benchmarking only tool, not something for everyday use. Good water cooling is far more convenient. Pelts or a Phasechange system will give better results, but are a pain to set up.

I've also heard of air pressure cooling, but I also heard you could blow up your whole house if your not careful with it.

VapoChill is a nice safe alternative, give at least 1GHz to a 3.4GHz Pentium 4.

5Ghz off a 3.4GHz pentium. You can see frost crystals forming on the socket and the capacitors around it. Its insane.
