problem with laptop keyboard

today, i was typing in an instant messenger, and i notivced that several keys were not typing the right things. The ones i have notived are:

É=that is what it does when i hit the question mark with shif
é=that hitting forward braket (question mark key with no shift)
?= that when i hit the up arrow with shift
/=when i **** 3 with shift
"=when i hit 2 with shift
`=when i hit this key " (i made that by hitting 2 with shift) also this key does not respond fast, it takes sever seconds to display

¸there are several other but u get the picture, why is it doing this?, it is getting very annoying.

Check your language and regional settings. They might have been switched.

ok, yeah it was set to canadian french, i didn't change it though, why did it change lol. Anyway, its back to normal, thanks mak.

Not a problem Luke. Maybe someone was messing with it? I couldnt tell you why it changed. I just know how to fix it.

^hmm, i have had it on folding all day, perhaps my sibling was messing with it... i don't know. well I'm glad it's back to normal.
