Windows Live Login w/ AVG Free

Hello,

Just installed AVG Free Anti-Virus (had NAV before). Now, a family member's hotmail acct (Windows Live) doesnt work, she cant sign in. Could there be a fix?

Hello,

What active scanners do you have on? What firewall are you running? This sounds more like a Firewall denying access of WLM to the internet than AVG.

Hey Mak, have ZA free firewall, that's it. No other scanners.

Hello,

Check to make sure that WLM is allowed thru the firewall. If you dont see it on the list make sure to add it. That would be my guess as to why is isnt letting you sign in.

I believe the problem w/ on Hotmail's end, since the next day it worked and I really didnt mess w/ the firewall much, thanks for the help again!
