Hi
I just printed out a colour photo using the HP PSC2410. I discovered that if a drop of water falls on it, it wipes away the color off the picture, in other waords it is a temporary print. is there any way i could make the prints permananet or am i using the wrong paper(HP glossy print) or am i using some temporary ink(HP supplied as well).

quite common. your printing with ink...most ink will rub if you drop water on it. write on a peice of paper and it will do the same. However, on most photo quality paper, the ink pretty much stays on there if water gets on there. If you want to print out a photo and make sure nothing wrecks it, you can buy stuff to coat them. Or you could just shove it in an album/frame so no water will ever get on it

or get epson inks, but you have an hp printer. . .

the photos i print on my epson are waterproof (to an extent . . . i discovered leaving them in the pool for 20 hours doesnt work :p)
