Catalyst 8.8 Drivers Available

ATI just released Catalyst v8.8 drivers. Here are the release notes (PDF). Hybrid Graphics support is introduced for XP in these drivers.

This release of Catalystâ„¢ introduces Hybrid Graphics support. Hybrid Graphics delivers a significant 3D performance boost for systems featuring an AMD 780C, AMD 780G, and AMD 790GX integrated graphics motherboard and an ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series or ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series graphics accelerator.

This might mess with the bios I'm currently using, I want to check with gurusan first.

This is mostly a bugfix release, but there are a couple of games that get a significant gain

yeah drizzt these drivers gave me nothing but problems til I switched back to the stock bios. :/

Yet I know a guy who was claiming all the time that those drivers will give a significant boost in performance.
