:confused:I'm not a computer person, so stay with me. My son has a eMachine, model W3623. With a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 4, 3.20GHz/ 2MB L2 Cache. The hard drive is a 160 GB SATA II. Has 512 MB DDR2 and a Intel Graphic Accelerator 950. He wanted to try my ram that I took out of my system. Wich is a eMachine also.My ram is DDR 400GHz PC3200. Now his system will not run. I tried to reset like you have in Read first. This produced 3 short beeps. I read that this is 64K BIOS? How or can his system can be fixed?
Thank You David C Sr.:D

Did you try pulling the memory out and putting the old memory back in? I do know some older motherboards cant handle certain size sticks of memory. Example we had some old dells that could only read 256 sticks or smaller.

I left it unpluged for 30 mins. I lost some programs. But it works now!!!!!
I put the old RAM back in..
Thanks For replys.David C Sr.
