I am currently working on getting all of the parts that I need to build my new PC and I have a list of what I have come up with so far. I am asking as a favor if you guys will take a look at my list as if this PC was for you and decide if what I have chosen is best, etc.. etc... Just double check to make sure everything is compatible and if you have any other suggestions that would be better for me, then let me know.

Also, I am looking for a green DVD/RW drive, a green floppy drive, and a green zip drive to match my case. I would also like to find a greent monitor with a 21' viewing screen. If you can help, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

everything seems good. i have one question though.......

it seems money is no option, why not buy the x800xt instead ot the 9800xt??

yea, man i wish money was no option 4 me... that my friend is luxery it would prob be easier to buy reg white drives and paint em same with the monitor even if u havent done it b4 its pretty ez jus a bit of masking tape

i was thinking about telling him that also Gl\l0m!$h.

i agree, i wish $ weren't an issue for me.

Definitly Linksys for the ethernet card, (besides, they are the child company of Cisco Networking.)

That board you chose comes with an onboard ethernet controller, so you dont need to get one of those. And you can get any old modem for 10 bucks or less, and it would do the trick. I would however try going with some SATA hard drives instead of the IDE seeing as you got 4 sata controllers onboard. (sweet) I would also check out CRUCIAL'S website and order my ram from them direct. Especially seeing as they got the new BALLISTIX memory. As for green floppy and dvd drives, you can go to your local hobby shop and find out if they have a similar color to your case and do it yourself. Have fun!!

Hey that mobo you picked has a nic built in. Why do you want to buy one?

Edit: bobojuice got to that before I did. I feel sloooowwww.
