Antec Earthwatts 500 + 8800GTS?

Hey all, system specs below.

C2D E6750 2.6ghz
2GB Ram
1 500GB Seagate Sata
1 DVDRW drive
Currently a 8500GT
Antec Earthwatts 500

A friend of mine just bought a 9800gtx and he gave me his old 8800GTS, this is one of the early models, 320mb. Pre-G92.

The above system is not used for gaming, but would I be able to power the 8800GTS in it? The PC is being used on a larger LCD panel 27". Just don't want to push things too much.

I see one other person said they are using an 8800GTS with the same PSU, but I don't want to push it too hard. Seems like a good quality power supply so far, and very solid/heavy.

Yeh, the earthwatts are supposed to be really good.

That ps should be good, it's all about amperage and it has more than enough.

I love the Earthwatts series, i can power a full system with two
8800GT's with the 380w, so that 500w will handle the 8800GTS smoothly.
