Computer randomly stopped working

For some reason the chkdsk /F didnt run, but I guess the computer works now. It takes about 10 minutes to boot up though so I guess that's my problem now. Not sure what to do to speed up the process.

Hello,

Start>Run>msconfig

Uncheck everything but your antivirus and firewall. See what happens.

Alright well after running a full defrag last night, CCleaner, and Registry Mechanic, its booting up as it used to. I should probably start doing that whole "backing up your hard drive" thing now.
