Alright, I've got a challenge for some of you, I want your ideas of what the ultimate computer (at the current time) would be.

Some pointers:
Please no Intel vs AMD or NVidia vs ATI wars etc., I want your idea, not what you think of someone else's.

If you can try to get the locations and prices of the computer parts.




I'll have mine up within the hour.

GPU: ATI Radeon x800 XT 256mb PCI-X

That's about all i can think of.

I'm not going to try to find prices online, but here is my supercomputer:

CPU: Athlon 64 FX-53 skt 939
Mobo: Asus A8V K8T800 Pro
Ram: 4 GB Corsair PC4000 DDR
Case: Lian-Li PC-75
PSU: 600 Watt Enermax
Video: Radeon X800XT-PE
Sound: Audigy 2 ZS
HDD: 2x 74 GB 10,000 Western Digital Raptors, 2x 250 GB Western Digital Caviars (2x raid 0)
DVD: 16x DVD+/-RW Dual Layer
Cooling: The CPU will have a phase changing cooling unit on it, and will be overclocked to 3 ghz. Chipset and Video card will both be watercooled, and the Radeon will be overclocked as far as possible.

Does anyone know of any decent Dual Pentium 4 motherboards with PCI Express?
