PSU Still OK ?

I am currently using my Hiper Type - M 530Watt and it's fine, but i'm about to upgrade to either a 4870, or a GTX260. I would prefer the GTX260 because it supports PhysX. But looking at this page:

It uses over 300Watt on crysis

Now i wouldn't think my hiper could cope with that, would it...?

The PSU should be fine...keep in mind those charts are of total power consumption of the entire system....also if the PSU is 80% efficient then that means at 300W the actual system is only drawing 240W

I personally would upgrade, Minimum is 500w, you got a 530w, isn't that going to make the psu really hot?

Probably, my dad runs his card off a 350watt generic, and it's minimum is 400watt.

The minimum ratings are BS...

edit: while i'm hear, does faster ram (im using PC5300 atm) have much influence on game fps ? what about load times etc ..?
