jasondean98...I don't think the problem is our actual Vcore...it is Gigabyte boards. They have very high vdrop/vdroop and therefore you have to go much higher in the BIOS Vcore. I have mine working now at 1.35V Vcore, 1.57V PLL, and 1.30V CPU Termination (although I might lower this a notch).

speaking of vdroop....the 780i i ordered for my buddy's build is TERRIBLE...it drops over .05V idle and way more under load. i think i had to set it at 1.2875 for it to hover around 1.225...my p5q drops about .009V from bios settings (via cpuz) with loadline calibration on and under a full load, drops .025 at idle. rockin. i think i see the benefit of 8 phase power now. anyone know if the XFX 780i has a setting that equates to loadline calibration? i haven't found it if it does.

I ended up wanting a little headspace so I have mine at 1.35V CPU VCore (1.296 at idle in Windows and 1.248 under load), 1.57V CPU PLL, and 1.32V CPU Termination ( I read I'm fine below 1.4V and to never go to 1.5V)...also known as VTT.

I have the same Setup and I can't get 3.2 at all. I set the FSB to 400 PC X to 100 I tried to up the voltage a little and nothing. I have a zalman 9550 on it and the temp is like 32C but it won't boot at 3.2 what other settings do I need or what is the exact settings to hit 3.2?

I put the exact voltages from the 1st post in for the MB and it still won't post. what other things do I need to change in the bios setup screen?
