I had a Sony Vaio desktop that got zapped by lightning a couple weeks ago. I've gotten a new machine to replace it, but the CD for one of my games was in the CD drive when it happened and since the lightning killed the power supply, I can't get the disk out now. I've gone in with a flashlight and a screwdriver but there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the disk drive. If there is, and I just didn't see it, can I get a few instructions? Or any suggestions for getting this disk out?

I bet the CD drive still works, just unplug the IDE and molex power cables, then plug the molex power cable from your new computer into it and press the eject button.

If that doesn't work, just un-bend a paperclip, and there should be a small hole on the front of the drive. Push the paperclip into that hole, and it'll eject the drive manually (they put this on there in case the drive mechanism doesn't work or w/e, so you can still get the disc out w/out demolishing the drive).
