Processor fan

I overclocked my CPU .2ghz, and I don't want to push it too much more until I get an after market cooler. I don't want tp send much more than 35 bucks.

One thing is, I have a tube from my case that goes over the CPU. So the ones with the fan on the side wouldn't be utilizing that anymore. Do you guys think it'd still be worth it if I went with one with the fan on the side?

Hmm, reviews said it was pretty loud. That isn't a huge deal but my 2nd question is this---

My case has a cpu vent thing going onto the fan. Since that fan is on the side of the heatsink instead of the top, is it really going to decrease temperature? Because the fan will no longer be sucking cool air from the tube on the side of my case.
