So, straight to the point. I built a system using Zalman's CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler []Newegg.com - Suggested Products This morning when I turned on my computer it would start up and then suddenly turn off. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the heat sink was laying on top of my graphics card! The clip which pins the heat sink to the motherboard snapped in two! I will try to post pictures because it seems there is a brown substance on the metal near were it snapped? Furthermore, I'm worried that I might of damaged some of the components in my system by turning it on repeatedly. If anyone could please advice on what my course of action would be it would be greatly appreciated.
