NT external HD not working

i needed to get information off of on an NT machiene. When i took the HD over to my external case and plugged it in it couldnt find the File System which im assuming was FAT32 on NT or the name of the drive or anything... any reason why and XP machine coudlnt see an NT hard drive?

Using a few programs it saw the drive Physically not logically though.

Could be a FAT16 - in which case XP would not recognize the allocation table.

There are a few ways of going around this, either copy the info to a USB drive, copy it to a DVD/CD, or if you have two machines working just share the information on your network and copy it over that way.
