Hi and that's my first post .

i have a gforce fx8800 gtx vga card with 2 dvi outputs

i currently working on dual monitors and want to ubgrade to triple monitors so what the cheapest options do you think i have?

and do you think this is an option"Newegg.com - CABLES UNLIMITED PCM-2265 DVI-D Cable Splitter F-M - Audio Video Cables"

Yes you will have to get a cable (like the one you picked out) to split the connections

Or you could get a PCI graphics card and plug your monitor into that.

and does the cable option have disadvantages?
will i be able to separate the 3 monitors or ill have a 1 separate screen on one monitor and another screen stretched on left 2 monitors

Disadvantages might be performance decrease with visual displays, but if you are just using the monitors for web surfing and the like then you won't notice any difference.

Not sure about your setup options. Someone else might be able to help you with that, but I assume that you would be able to have 3 separate screens
