because when you install it, iy works for 30. Then it forces u to activate either through the net or the phone. But i think if you are using the same IP address it should work. It did for my friend.

Your allowed to install windows on two systems. Your home desktop computer and a laptop. Just say that you computer is your fathers laptop !

lol...but it's still the upgrade package...how do i get around that?

Hmm... Couldn't tell you, but a buddy used the same software in 3 different computers, and he registered each without a problem. All they do, is scan your system, and see what's all in it. If there is a problem, just tell them, that you were upgrading your computer, and obviously had to reinstall the os!

lol, k. i think i'll just bum an os off a freind or somethin i don't know. i got conections...know what i mean? i can get one for real cheap, my friend is about to open an at home buisness.
