I don't recommend xp 64 at all. No support for it.

im tired of people saying that, a lot of compatibility issues were fixed in sp1 and you can nearly always find drivers and program versions for 64bit. all you have to do is look,

let me rephrase that. XP 64 does NOT have support for the programs I use. If you have software that isn't anything special and just use it to surf, listen to music and games your fine. I used it last year and it sucked. No support for anything I used it for like music production. I prefer Vista x64 because of my other hardware that needs to communicate w/ windows is supported.
