No idea how to OC

I've wanted to, but I just don't know how. I heard there was some downloadable software that can tweak things a little for you. Anyone know? I've got an AMD X2 4000+ which is 2.1ghz. I heard these are bad for overcloking because the multiplier is locked or something like that. I just want to get it to like 2.4ghz and I'd be pretty satisfied. Any help or am I SOL?

haha ya i knew that much. i just d/led it, kind of want to try OCing the one i got just to test it out. idk which sections to OC, if I should OC them all, and how much. My system runs pretty cool, but I don't want it to get too hot.
