Hello,
I've been building systems since I was in high school (quite a few less now than back then) and when I built my wife and I's system back in '05 it was the first time I'd encountered a SATA drive. Since then I've only dealt with older systems and thus my knowledge base continues to be mostly IDE based in the Hard Drive department.

I originally added a 200 gb SATA drive to our system, but after three years and a lot of videogames I feel it's getting close to time to add a few more gigs of space. I have a 200 gb IDE drive from a system I had before and have been using it in an enclosure as an external drive. I've recently aqquired a 120 gb IDE drive and I've been contemplating moving the 120 gb to the enclosure and looking into the possobility of increasing or Desktop storage space to 400 gb.

My questions are these:

1.) Can I install an IDE hard drive into a system that already has a SATA drive as it's primary drive?

2.) Is there anything special I need to do to accomplish this?

Thanks,
