Hello. I have 2 hd 4870's in crossfire with 2 monitors. My question is... to run 3 monitors, could I leave them in crossfire and use 2 ports on the main card and 1 port on the second card or would I have to remove the crossfire to have 3 monitors running? Thanks.

Thanks. To run games over 3 monitors, would I need something like matrox triplehead2go or something? Looking over google, this seems like what I would need, the best way to do it. Crossfire 2 cards, then connect the triplehead2go to 1 port on the main card, then plug the 3 monitors into the triplehead2go module.

yes you could run three monitors on a crossfire setup....doesn't ati have a contol panel like nvidea for you can just combine all your screen?

(never used an ati card except ati onboard)

Looks like it does, but it looks like triplehead2go will be better. On a side note, can anyone recommend a desk for 3 monitors, I can't find a good one.

Pretty sure crossfireX only supports 2 monitors. My 2nd card doesnt output anything when i have crossfireX enabled.
