ok im reformating my computer, it currently has 70,000 megabytes of stuff on it... after deleting a couple of thousand meg's of porn. anyway im getting another computer and dsl, and 2 cell phones. is there a possibility i can store all of this one a harddrive, if so can someone tell me how to. I'm running windows ME and when i reformat i want to have windows XP. anyway my starts are
1 GHZ
512 Sdram
geforce 4 ipc graphix card
dvd/cd burner
windows me
hewlet packard
pentium 3 processor
can someone give me a walkthrough or tutorial on how to reformat my computer and if i can store all my information on a hardrive, so i can get it back later with my other computer

whoa, thats a tall order, you need to do some googlin' =) Lots of sources out there for that sort of stuff

i'm confused I own a hewlett packard and the only cd's i found are system recovery cd 1, system recovery cd 2, and application recovery cd 3. I'm not sure if those are the window's ME cd's but they say windows me under were it says CD #1 out of #3 blah blah. I got the product number from off my computer. my question is are those the windows me cd's, so when I reformat I use those. I already have my startup floppy disk created

you want to save all your data onto another hard drive?? Obviously you will need to copy it over onto another hard drive before you format.

After you format, you will need to boot of the XP cds if you still want XP rather than Windows ME.

well, after that are the system recovery cd's going to install windows me, if u dono what im talking bout read above
