ok, one more question, lol

i was just looking at the Fry's ad, and saw this Seagate 160gb Ultra ATA/100 harddrive (8.5ms seek time, 8mb buffer, 7200rpm, 5year warrenty) for $50. is this a good deal? also what's the difference between a ATA and SATA hdd?

if your motherboard supports it, get a SATA drive . . . its theoretically faster, plus the cable is smaller, providing better airflow

thanks again for the info. i was looking on newegg, and it seems that most of their hdd's are "OEM", what does that mean? and is it still good?
