Computer mod idea...

Well, I've been thinking of an idea that I came up with (I'm sure its been done before, but I haven't, and that's what matters .

Anyway... I've been thinking about taking the insides of an HP Slimline pc, and transferring all the parts over to a PS2 shell. I've figured out I'd have to use 2 top halves of the PS2, because it wouldn't be tall enough with just a normal PS2. I'll have to do some modding for the inside of the PS2, but I haven't planned it out all yet (obviously I'm going to before I get the slimline computer, so I know what I'm getting into). I figure this'd be a pretty cool media PC if I can get it to go right. What do you all think?

Poops and laughs, pretty much. Why do other people want to do mods? To see if they can do it, and just because.

well not really, we do it to make a case look nice and improve performance.

I already have a couple bad PS2's tho . That's why I thought of the mod...put some use to the shell at least.

Edit: thanks for the info, Commander. I'll look into that if and when I do it.
