I have used the Windows version of this more than VMWare or Virtual PC. It is a very good VM software.

I am installing XP pro now inside virtual box now on my Macbook nothing special only gav it 512mb of ram an 5gb of disk space.

I have been playing with this for the last few days an boy am i impressed, it worlds better than parallels an VMware Fusion an best of all it has a great price tag of £0.00 I would give it a go before spending money if you have to run virtulisation on a Mac.

Hi..
I've recently installed VirtualBox on my OSX 10.5.5. First, I've created a machine running Ubuntu and it's working beautifully. Than I created a machine to run XP, the installation itself went smoothly but when I try logging in i get an error message saying: "the specified domain either does not exist or can't be contacted".
I'm logging in locally, I've tried chnging the network configuration for this machine, but nothing helps.... any thoughts?
I would really appriciate your help

cheers,

matan

For some reason the machine thinks it should be joined to a domain in a workplace or a hose, where did you get this XP disk from?
