My experience with Asus (and it's been over 100 boards now) is about 1-in-3 are DOA. Biostar seems to be moving up quickly in the ranks. Good choice vern :).

1/3 DOA sounds about right by my count as well. Sometimes they really take their sweet time with RMA's,too.

Haven't used much Biostarmyself, just a few of their boards, but everything went very smoothly, had good features and BIOS interface, support and drivers, no complaints.

When I was building servers up until a few weeks ago my company used Asus and Tyan exclusively. They had a stack of over 100 bad Asus boards they hadn't gotten around to sending back for RMA. Fail rate was maybe 1/10 but these were on ultra high end boards, probably $300 a pop even when they bought in bulk. Just all together unimpressive from a quality stand point.
