Hyperthreading + tv tuner cards

I recently bought a tv tuner card, but i just found out that my machine, a 2.8 p4, has hyperthreading and hyperthreading screws up the tv tuner program. I checked w/microsoft, and they acknowledge its a kink in their OS, and they have an update, but its not on their site. Anyone know of this problem or have a fix? thanks

what do u mean it screwws it up0, have u tried? what happens? a lil help would be apreciated

Hahah yeah sorry....I mean that it freezes the program. Even if you try to crtl alt del out of the program....the box will still be there and the audio still goes and you have to press the button for the computer to restart.

Is the program the most updated version?

Yeah...microsoft acknoweldged it was a problem with windows
